Placement Opportunities Include:
Financial Reporting
  • Support the Financial Reporting team in the preparation and review of quarterly and year-end financial statements 
  • Assist the team in the management of the external audits 
  • Support the financial statement publication process 
  • Engage with stakeholders throughout the financial statement process 
  • Research accounting questions under U.S. GAAP and IFRS 
General Ledger
  • Assist the team with the monthly close process including – journal entry preparation, account reconciliation preparation, and performance of analytics over account balances
  • Perform research into various expense lines including trends, variance analysis, and allocations
  • Prepare footnotes, financial statement and related audit requests
  • Help the team liaise with technology teams to build and develop connections and information flow between business systems to implement process and control improvements on an ongoing basis
Corporate Accounting
  • Liaise with several different functions for cash management and expense and invoice processes across the firm
  • Support the accounting team on various cash receipt and disbursement related tasks 
  • Assist the team with the close process and various monthly journal entries  
Broker-Dealer Accounting
  • Assist with regulatory reporting for broker-dealer entities 
  • Assist with monthly closes and periodic financial reporting  
  • Assist with counterparty compliance monitoring and reporting 
  • Drive process improvements, among other projects  
  • Assist with overseeing the accounting books and records 
  • Oversee the calculation of fund and investor level NAVs and returns

In accordance with New York City’s Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is $40 to $40 per hour. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
