Finalists will be notified no later than March 14th.
Finalists will be asked to join us in Chicago to present their research to the Decision Panel the week of March 31st. Round-trip airfare, ground transportation, hotel accommodation, and meals will be included. 
Fellowship recipients will be notified by April 25th.  
GQS PhD Fellowship Eligibility: Students eighteen years of age or older who are currently enrolled at an accredited university in the United States pursuing a PhD in Physics or a related discipline. 
Fellows will be eligible to receive a grant of up to $100,000 to cover tuition, fees and stipend for the 2025/2026 academic year. PhD fellowships may require university-specific payment arrangements. We will work with each Fellow’s program to arrange the award of your fellowship prior to the 2025/2026 academic year. Recipients will also be matched with a GQS Research Mentor and will be eligible for GQS career opportunities. Recipients are responsible for any taxes incurred due to the value of the Fellowship benefits.
