Nabeel Bhanji Head of Strategic Equity Investments
Nabeel Bhanji joined Citadel in 2025 as Head of Strategic Equity Investments. He also serves on Citadel’s Portfolio Committee.
Prior to joining the firm, Nabeel was an Equity Partner at Elliott Investment Management, where he sat on the firm’s Global Investment Committee and was responsible for public equity and event-driven investing across a range of geographies. Nabeel began his career in Goldman Sachs’ UK M&A team before moving to the private equity firm Apax Partners. Nabeel is a member of the Aga Khan Development Network’s Endowment Committee and a Governor at London’s Westminster School. He was previously a board director of Toshiba Corporation.
Nabeel earned a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
